![]() POST TRIAL JUROR INTERVIEWS With the Court's permission, AMERICAN JURY RESEARCH contacts jurors who have served in actual trials. The jurors are first asked if they would be willing to talk about the trial and are assured their names will NOT be associated publicly with any of their responses. If the juror agrees to the conversation, they are asked a series of questions about the case: attorney's presentations, witnesses, evidence and ultimately, the deliberation process. Interviews typically last one hour. JUROR'S TESTIMONIALS: "I was actually a bit worried when you first called. However, talking about this process has really helped me get some things off my chest." "I hope I have made it clear why the jury voted that way it did." "It was just hard to believe this lawyer was not in it for the money, he had on a new pair of Italian loafers every day of the trial." "The second defense witness was absolutely unintelligible, we totally had to dismiss him." "The law required us to vote the way we did. In fact, a lot of people didn't agree with the plaintiff, but we just didn't have any choice. The jury instructions said the company must treat every employee equally. And the company didn't." |
