FOCUS GROUPS
Two or more groups of participants watch either live or videotaped presentations from both sides of a case; plaintiff & defense, or in a criminal case, prosecution & defense. Presentations can last from one to three hours for each side, depending on the type of case. After the presentations, a research facilitator conducts an in-depth interview with participants to explore issues of concern as well as the participants' reactions to the information presented.
